Atlantic Well Drilling and Pump Service, installs wells for drinking, heat pumps and irrigation. We install new irrigation systems, service existing ones and modify existing systems to accommodate new landscaping, pools or any changes you may have. We only use top of the line materials and we use Hunter irrigation products. We offer total service for irrigation systems from the beginning by handling the paperwork for the permits, spring start-ups, winterizations and any service work you may need to protect your system before winter arrives. Our service truck is fully stocked to save you time and money. We are a full time business, with over 30 years of dependable service in the Tidewater area. We drill our own wells for your convenience so you do not have to deal with two companies for your irrigation system. We are licensed and insured and a member of the Better Business Bureau. We offer 24 hour emergency service.
Atlantic Well Drilling and Pump Service, is very special because it is run by our family. The well rig was designed and built by my husband, Pat Mims. We have been married for over 30 years now and I have worked in the business with him for many of those years. I have assisted Pat with everything from applying for the well permits to drilling the wells and installing pumps. I spend most of my time now in the office. Our son, Pep has always been an active part of our business as well. He began playing in the mud as a young child and later started helping his Dad on service calls and irrigation installations. After completing college, we are very fortunate to have him working in our business. Our daughter, Chrissy, has helped us out on some occasions too. We have three precious grandchildren whom have already shown an interest in the business by playing in the mud, running through the sprinkler and pretending to drive the well rig.
